I do what I'm told...

This will be brief, but here's the big news here.

We're in Texas. We have been since the beginning of May.

Kids did a month of school here and LOVED it. It's now summer break and all 3 are very quickly learning how to swim. What fishes they've become!

We still haven't closed on our house, and if we can't get the idiots at Citi Mortgage to be reasonable, we'll probably lose our buyer. That may mean foreclosure for us because...

Scott lost his job. The company he worked for has laid off somewhere around 15 or 20 people since they let him go, so they're not doing too well. It sucks to be out of a job, but he kinda hated it so we're not terribly upset.

Now if only we could sell our house so we don't have a mortgage payment...

So that's about it for us. We spend our days mostly hanging out with Dad and going to the pool. We all LOVE it here. We're so glad to be here. The job didn't work out and the sale of the house hasn't worked out, but we have no second thoughts about this move. We're here to stay, and loving it!
