Conference

I don't usually get to listen to General Conference on Saturdays. What a treat it's been today! I've loved every single talk, but especially Elder Holland's talk. (At least I think it was Elder Holland. I was folding laundry and didn't actually look up...) What a concise and beautiful lesson on the Godhead. There was such power behind his testimony. Is it just me or was there a huge emphasis on really knowing the basic and essential doctrine of the Church throughout both sessions? I'm definitely going to have to work harder at watching the Saturday sessions. I loved every moment of it!

I love Elder Eyring being put into the First Presidency!

We took Megan to the Saturday morning session (Kate has been and you have to be 8 to enter the session)- it was awesome to see Elder Eyring sustained President Eyring! He was my guess and will be fantastic!

Conference was especially glorious this year. What a testament to the true and living Church! I'm still feeling on the uplift.
I had to work on Saturday but am trying to catch up so I don't miss a single wonderful talk. I'm glad we learned that we get more out of it when we really listen, and that there are levels of listening. I can't wait for my Ensign to listen again!
Lotsa great talks. Especially loved Julie Beck's.
To us older people, Eyring seems young and fairly new, but I guess that's not the case for you youngins. Nevertheless, a truly great man. The Church is in good hands.
